Frequently Asked Questions
IOP is a higher treatment level for when regular outpatient visits with a psychiatrist or therapist aren’t enough. You need an intervention. This treatment is short-term — the goal is serious improvement in as short a time as possible. It works on an admission basis and occurs in a group setting led by a therapist.
The goal is to provide you with coping skills by facing the truth — life can be downright challenging. And sometimes the only you can control is your own response to those challenges.
When you start IOP, you’ll develop personalized goals with the therapist… whatever your goals my be. We take those goals and put them into a personalized treatment plan, which we’ll follow for the duration of the program. That’s not to say that goals won’t change throughout — they can and do. And we’ll adapt along with you to reach them.
If you are struggling with:
- Past Trauma
- Mood Disorder
- Personality Disorder
- Substance Use Disorder
Then you may want to consider this treatment option to help you improve.
